Adaptive Surf
Experiences
At Soundwave, we believe surfing is for everyone. We aim to share the thrill of surfing with all different abilities. Whether it’s cognitive or physical, get in touch and see if we can get you or your loved one out in the waves.
Our lead instructor, Graham, is fully certified in adaptive surfing. Please get in contact if you would like to know more about this offering.
Alternatively, if you want to volunteer to help on these sessions, please get in touch. To run these sessions, we need all the help we can get both on land and in the water.

Supporting Adaptive Surfing
Adaptive surfing is surfing that has been modified to allow people with disabilities to participate, through changes in equipment, rules, or the environment. Adaptive surfing promotes social inclusion, self-esteem, and provides a challenging and rewarding experience for all participants.
