Surfing is more than a sport – it’s the feeling of standing on water, the rush of catching a wave, and the simple joy of being in the Atlantic. Whether it’s your first lesson or you’re ready to sharpen your skills, our ISA-qualified instructors keep things safe, fun, and personal.
All equipment is provided, including board, wetsuit, and booties if needed. Just bring your swimwear and a towel.

A Simple, Fun Path to Your First Wave
Each session lasts about two hours, with roughly 30 minutes spent on land getting set up and learning the basics before heading to the water.
Lessons take place in waist-to-hip depth water, perfect for beginners and younger surfers. The focus is always on enjoyment – falling in is part of the fun!

What do I need to bring?
We provide surfboards, wetsuits, and booties. Bring swimwear for under your wetsuit, a towel, and warm clothes for afterwards.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Basic swimming skills are required. Lifejackets are provided.
What age can join?
Our minimum age is 7 years old. There’s no maximum – surfing is for everyone!
How do I find you?
We’re based on the grounds of the Bervie Guesthouse at the western end of Keel Beach. Parking is available in the nearby stone car park.
What if there are no waves?
If conditions aren’t right, we’ll offer a Stand Up Paddle session or rearrange your lesson.
